Terms & Conditions

All currencies are based on the US dollar. All pricing is subject to change without notice. Pricing does not include installation, inspection or testing.

All orders will be required to be paid at time of purchase, unless credit terms are approved by Fire Equipment Direct.

If an account is not approved for open charges, all orders will be shipped on a Credit Card basis. If credit terms are approved, terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice. There will be a charge of $45 for returned checks. Accounts with past due balances may be put on hold at the discretion of Fire Equipment Direct.

Orders are FOB, point of shipment, unless otherwise specified by Fire Equipment Direct, LLC.

 

Small Parcel orders of $1,000.00 or more shipped to a single location within the continental US are freight free (excludes hazardous materials, chemicals, recharge agents, cabinets)

 

Truck line orders of $7,000.00 or more shipped to a single location within the continental US are freight free. (Note: Residential deliveries, lift gates, and delivery appointments will be additional costs)

Orders received by 12:00 PM (EST) will usually ship the same day. Due to unforeseen circumstances, same-day shipping cannot be guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate.  Orders placed after 12:00 PM will ship the following business day.

 

If a Rush Order is needed (same day but order received after 12:00 PM EST), a $50.00 fee will apply to the order. Please note that the Shipping cutoff hour is 3:30 pm EST.

 Fire Equipment Direct, LLC is not responsible for;

If your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim and save all packaging materials and damaged products.

 

Orders require a minimum order amount of $250.00, excluding shipping charges.

For will call orders needing same-day pick up, orders will need to be received prior to 12:00 pm (EST). Pick up of will call orders must be scheduled with Fire Equipment Direct’s office. All will call orders are required to be picked up by 3:30 pm EST.

Products that are Special Order, or non-stock products, must be pre-paid at time of order. Special Order products, or non-stock products, cannot be cancelled once the order is placed. Special Order products, or non-stock products, are not returnable and non-refundable. The above listed Shipping and Freight Free policy’s may not apply to Special Order products or non-stock products.

Most items may be returned within 30 days of invoice. Depending on the reason for return, the customer may be responsible for return shipping charges. Returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Please contact our office prior to returning an item as returns will not be accepted without a return authorization number (RMA) provided by Fire Equipment Direct LLC. Any items that have been opened, used, or damaged may not be returned. Dated items (fire extinguishers, system tanks, cartridges, fuse links, etc.) may not be returned. Special Order products and non-stock products may not be returned and are non-refundable.
